Past President of Evansville Women’s Auxiliary of Evansville Homebuilders Association, Mrs. Meyers was retired co-owner of Robert H. Meyers Building and Supplies. She was a boating enthusiast and a member of OBC.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Meyers.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Taylor Claycomb; three grandchildren, Lisa Kelsey, Kristina Sanders (George) and Donald R. Dowell II (Lori); eight great-grandchildren, Patrick, Jonathan and Anna Marie Kelsey, Thomas and Meghan Sanders and Darien, Max and Tuula Dowell; sister, Mary E. Schuetter; brother, Charles Raymond (Barney) Heathcott; sister-in-law, Erma Sparrow; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
