Ava worked at the Good Samaritan Home from its opening until 2003, as managing housekeeping and laundry.
She is survived by her son, Gary McDaniel (Cindy) of Boonville, IN and grandson, Josh Jackson and fiancée, Kim Pritchett both of Evansville.
Private services will be held.
