Barbara Jane Ellen Merriman

Barbara Jane Ellen Merriman, 76, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2020, at her home. She was born November 25, 1944, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Vernon Claude McIntire and Anna Mae (Hair) Bass.

Barbara retired from Bristol Myers, after 30 years of service. She loved to travel, dance, and spend time with her family, friends, and her treasured animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eugene Merriman.

Barbara is survived by her children, Rance Vernon Merriman (Laura), Leigh Ann Jent, Erik Merriman, and Melanie Grasseth; brother, Brett McIntire (Yvonne); grandchildren, Keith, Christopher and Hailey Merriman, Emily Jent Fackler (Ryan), and Taylor, and Christian Grasseth; great grandchildren, Riley, Charlotte and Jack Fackler, Kai and Theo Merriman; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Alexander East Chapel, officiating by Matthew Merriman, with entombment in Locust Hill Mausoleum. Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
