

Marian graduated from Memorial High School in 1946. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a past secretary of the PTA, and past chairman of the Fall Festival Booth. Marian was a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank and a Pink Lady at Deaconess Hospital. She also delivered books to the home bound. She was a member of VFW Post 1114 Auxiliary. She was formerly employed at Sears.
Marian was preceded in death by her son, Richard Pigman; grandson, Kyle Abshier and sisters, Dorothy Meyer and Jeanette Halbig.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 1, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiated by Father David Nunning with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit, Sunday, September 30, 2012, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM and Monday, from 9:00 AM until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
