Cecil Grant Kifer

He was a very active member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God, where he was a teacher for the adult Sunday School and a soloist. He was an avid University of Evansville basketball fan and loved traveling and golfing.

Cecil is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Kifer.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wilma Kifer; son, Mark (Stephanie) Kifer; granddaughter, Kelsea Kifer, and sisters, Shirley Adams of California and Marjorie (Don) Euler of Evansville.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Church of God, 8900 Baumgart Road, officiated by Rev. Bruce Applegate, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road and Thursday from 10:00 AM to service time at the church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Manor and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care of Cecil.
