He attended Forrest Hills Wesleyan Church and retired from the EVSC as Lead Carpenter.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mildred Ferguson; daughter, Debra Hodges; brothers, Golden and Robert Ferguson, and sister, Elizabeth McCullough.
He is survived by son-in-law, Douglas Hodges (Pamela); grandson, Matthew Hodges; granddaughter, Christina Hodges, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00AM, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Mike Stoelting, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 9:00AM to service time Friday at the funeral home.
