He was a very proud graduate of North High School in the class of 1998. Although Charlie was proud to be a Husky, he thoroughly loved working on the Harrison Warrior football field with his big brother, helping with pictures and videos of the team! He worked for the Fresh Market and he absolutely loved his job and the people that he worked with. He also had a booth at Cowboy Jim’s where he was passionate about buying and selling! Charlie was a huge fan of IU Basketball, Colts Football, St. Louis Cardinals, and locally he loved to watch the Aces. He also was a fan of John Cena in the WWE! He lived his life to the absolute fullest, in his spare time he loved listening to a variety of music and as the CocaColaKid he enjoyed talking to his buddies on his CB radio!
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martina, who passed away on August 10, 2022, also; bonus dad, Gene Osborn; grandfather, James Blandford, grandfather Charles W. Hite; grandmother, Dorothy Hite; grandfather, Kenneth Woods.
He is survived by his grandmother, Shirley Smith; child, Sebastian James Hite; mom, Cynthia Heimbuecher; dad, Steven Hite Sr (Nila); siblings, Steven Hite Jr. (Kristina), Christopher Hite, Melissa Evans (Randy) all of Evansville, IN; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and lots and lots of friends.
There are so many people that his family would like to thank and there is no way that we can mention everyone! But, we would like to take this time to thank the First Responders for all that you did and also Fresh Market for everything they have done for the family of Charles and Martina.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 10 - 12:30 pm at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday and livestreamed beginning at 12:20 pm at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
The funeral will be officiated by Pastor John Eaton with burial to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery.
