Chickie was employed at SRG for many years.
Her greatest love was her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was hardly seen without her “Fancy” hats on or her wild and crazy pants. She loved collecting anything to do with pigs, and the color purple. Her hobbies were bowling and shopping.
She is survived by her son, Byron and daughter-in-law, Melissa Betteiger; grandchildren, Harleigh Karr (Rob), Savanna Batteiger, Alex Batteiger, and Ola Batteiger; great-grandchildren, Brantley, Lucas, and Addison; her “Man”, Al Roberts; many special friends; and her special pets, Diamond, LB, and Troubles.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at 2:00 p.m. on April 14, 2024 at the Burdette Park Clubhouse Shelter, 5301 Nurrenbern Road, Evansville, IN 47712
