Clara E. Russell

Clara (Stilwell) Russell, 95, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2024 at Heritage Center. She was born August 9, 1928 in Mackey, IN to the late Oscar and Ethel Stilwell. She worked at General Tire and Evansville Regional Airport. After retiring, she spent her time traveling and winters in Vero Beach, FL. Clara is survived by one daughter, Linda Hille (Glen); and sons, Terry Russell and Bill Russell (Renee); grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; one sister, Eleanor Nunn; and special friend, John Frick, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Russell; brothers, Charles and Albert Stilwell; and sisters, Helen Helsley, Marion and Beatrice Siekman, and Louise Boone. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday April 1, 2024 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Paul Willett of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Friends and family may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
