Clyde Skelton, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1931, in Erin, Tennessee, to the late Thomas and Ella (Fentress) Skelton.
Clyde was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He attended Lincoln School. Clyde loved taking care of his lawn and home. He retired from Alcan Aluminum, where he was a talented mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 15 siblings, and twin sons, Ricky and Dicky Skelton.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dot Skelton; daughters, Pamela Jutzi-Kishline (Mike) and Classie L. Skelton; son, R. C. Skelton; grandchildren, Monte Skelton, Shavonn Skelton, Michael Gill, Kari Skelton, Ashley Gill, and Kelly Skelton; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
