Connie Sue (Martin) DeWeese

Connie Sue (Martin) DeWeese, 54, of Evansville, IN passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on November 26, 1970, in Evansville to the late Terry Ray and Flossie Irene (Mulvey) Martin.

She had worked at Ameriqual, G.D. Ritzy’s, and Hardee’s. Connie was a member of Faith Temple / Abundant Faith Church where she volunteered with church activities. She enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, angels, tigers, animals, and spending time with all her grandchildren. Connie loved Randy, his kids, and grandkids. She was very family-oriented, an excellent caregiver, and above all loved Jesus. Connie was a very unique person and she lived up to her name, “Crazy Connie”. Her love was "one of a kind".

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Terry Ray Martin; mother, Flossie I. (Mulvey) Martin; grandparents, Oscar and Gladys Mulvey; grandmother, Fern Martin; sister, Leah Sue Brown-Collins; uncles, Harold “Marty” Martin and Vernon Bunkie Mulvey; cousin, Maci Mulvey; and Katie Graham.

Survivors include her daughters, Ashley (Tonya), Samantha (Austin), Destiny (Brian), Chrisney, Amanda, Karrie; and her son, Paul, Jr; grandchildren, Kenzie, Jaala, Kyden, Korbyn, Karmyn, Ky’A, Vanity, Andrea, Rikki, Austin, Harmonie, Malachi, Envy, Ivy, Honesty, Jayda, Dayton, Bailey, Hailey, Jacob, JonJon, Aaliyah, Ashtyn, Bryson, Aaliyah, and Cainon; brother, Donald Ray Martin, foster brother, Tommy Elliott, foster sister, Nikki Bivens; aunt, Brenda Martin; and uncle, David Martin (Lori).

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Deacon Justin Reising. Burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
