He was an Army veteran who served with the 102nd Military Intelligence Unit. Daniel went on to work for Wefferling-Berry jewelry as a traveling salesman. He then opened his own jewelry store, Williams Jewelers and retired as a jeweler.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Woltz) Williams; sons, Daniel Williams IV of Evansville, and Jerad Williams (Crystal) of Mt. Vernon; grandson, Devin Williams; great grandson, Andrew Williams; and sister, Vicki Jones of Evansville.
