Danny Franklin Mullikin, Jr., 49, of Evansville, IN, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He was born November 17, 1966, to Louise and the late Danny Franklin Mullikin, Sr.
He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard and a past member of Local 20. He worked many years for his friends, Durel and Carolyn Carneal. Danny was an avid fisherman and loved working with his hands, especially by working on cars, building, and fixing things. He also loved animals, but especially loved dogs. He had an infectious smile and enjoyed pulling pranks on others.
Danny is survived by his mother, Louise; brother, Bobby (Sherrie) Mullikin; sister, Jennifer; dear friends, Durel L. and Carolyn Carneal, who were not only his employers, but were more like family, which they displayed in the great care they took of Danny; best friends, Mike Weber and Rick Kincaid; cousins, David and Alisha, and their families; nieces; and longtime friend, Renee Buck.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery in Chapel of Remembrance, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, with burial to follow. Friends may visit Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the cemetery in Chapel of Remembrance.
