

He worked at Alcoa Industries for 5 years and had been a union carpenter for many years. He was a US Army Veteran. Darrin was a member of SIAM. He liked golfing, antiques, camping and collecting guns and western items. Darrin was a cowboy at heart.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ludwig and Grace Nolte, Francis and Cleo Graul; and brother, David Nolte.
Darrin is survived by his wife, Diane (Grimm) Nolte; parents, Frank and Sue Nolte; daughters, Carolyn M. Nolte, Grace Nolte; son, J.D. Nolte all of Hartford, KY; step-children, Nikki Taylor, Cole Royster (Stephanie); step-grandchildren, Lexie Hudnall, Hunter Hudnall, Nolan Royster, Gavin Royster, and Collin Royster.
Services will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Gene Backes, followed by burial at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, December 4, 2012, from 2:00PM until 8:00PM and Wednesday from 11:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Hadi Shriner’s Transportation Fund, 6 Walnut Street, Evansville, IN 47708.
