David was a drummer, playing in local bands in Indiana and in Illinois had opened for country singer, Vern Gosdin. He owned and operated his own restaurant off Riverside Drive.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maybell and William Edge and a brother, William A. Edge.
David is survived by his daughters, Amanda Payne and Leandra Coffman; son-in-law, Tony Payne; ten grandchildren; and nephew, Alan Edge.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Alexander West chapel, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Wadesville. Friends may visit Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
