Dave graduated from North Posey High School, class of 1961. He was a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy and retired after 27 years. Dave loved I.U. basketball and golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Anna Jean (Nesbit) Hendricks; sisters, Maryann Sollman, Bonnie Hendricks and Glenda Houchins.
Dave is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karol R. Hendricks; son, Michael Hadley (Jennifer) and his children, Emily, Annalise and Aleah; daughter, Kim “Pita” Townsend (Mike) and her children, Gavin and Gracie; sister, Alice Kincheloe; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Dave’s wishes a memorial service will be held at a later date.
