He was a graduate of LeHigh University in Bethlehem, PA and was a member of Centenary United Methodist church, the American Statistical Association and the American Society for Quality Control. He retired from Bristol Meyers.
David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lena Richards; sister, Jane Richards, and brother, Robert Richards.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty (Findlay) Richards and sons, David (Jackie) Richards and John Richards.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday December 3, 2015 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 14340 Old State Road, officiated by Rev. Danny Walker, with burial in Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
