David Ross Sponseller

David Ross Sponseller, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at his home in Evansville. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 3, 1939 to the late George Merritt and Mary Belle Beatrice (Miller) Sponseller. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Sponseller; and sister, Mary Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Helen; sons, Christopher D. Sponseller (Vangie) of Florida, Adam M. Sponseller (Elizabeth) and Ian D. Sponseller both of Evansville; daughter, Kimberly D. Murray (Richard) of Ohio; sister, Nancy I. Sponseller of Ohio; grandchildren, Tabitha, Cameron and Nicholas Murray, Michael Sponseller (Andrea), Elizabeth West (Jonah) and Oliver Sponseller. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at First Presbyterian Church, 609 SE 2nd Street, officiated by Wendy McCormick, with burial in Blue Grass Cemetery.
