He served as a firefighter for over 40 years, most recently at the Evansville Regional Airport. Donald also served as an EMT and was a member of the Retired Firefighters. He was a lifelong Westsider and graduated from North High School in 1969. Donald enjoyed woodworking and photography.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Becker.
He is survived by his niece, Lori Gonyer (Brad); great niece, Emma Gonyer; and cousin, Becky Adams.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance with Pastor Jeff Long officiating. Burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the cemetery mausoleum chapel.
