He graduated from North High School in the Class of 1962. He worked at “Bernardin” Silgan for 44 years, retiring in May 2006. Donnie enjoyed playing golf and taking care of his grandchildren during his retirement.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Connie (Townsend) Noffsinger; daughter, Dawn (Noffsinger) Scott, and husband, Darren; two grandchildren, Hunter and Kylie; son, Scott Day; sisters, Joyce (Bob) Giolitto and Wanda Hendrix.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Sloan. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
