Donnie Joyce Kingsbury

Donnie Joyce Kingsbury, 92, of Evansville, IN went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She and her twin sister, Bonnie, were born in Henderson, KY on November 18, 1931 to the late James Ernest and Addie Francis (Westbrook) Grant. Donnie was a homemaker, avid bingo player, and worked 35 years at KMart. After retirement she worked at a Dollar General store for another 14 years. She supported, encouraged, and loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren unconditionally. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and granny. She most treasured the time she shared with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Reutter (Stephen W.), Kimberlee Webster (David), and Kathy Jo Datzman; grandchildren, Stephen M. Reutter, Renee Reutter, and Jenny Felts (Braxton), Kelli Ann Snow (Jimmie), Krista Painter (Jon), Richard Simon, Alicia Duncan (Mark); great-grandchildren, Reagan Reutter, Dylan Marie Reutter, Gage Reutter, Ryter Felts, Amelie Felts, Maxwell Snow, Addie Snow, Sophie Jo Duncan; and her loving niece, Brenda Walters. Donnie is preceded in death by her twin sister, Bonnie Rudicle, three more sisters and one brother; two sons, Ernest Richard and Richard Keith Kingsbury. The family would like to especially thank the AseraCare staff for the dignity and grace they gave our mom and a special thanks to Pathways One nurses Amber and Soupy for their love and kindness. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN.
