Dwight was a decorated service technician. He worked at Bud’s Harley Davidson for many years and raced for Harley Davidson. He went on to work for Ford for many years and retired from Toyota. Following retirement, Dwight enjoyed volunteering at Patchwork Central and St. Mary’s. Dwight loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Muntzer and mother, Agnes (Phipps) Briel.
Dwight is survived by his daughter, Danielle S. Blevins (Kerry Chesser); sons, Joseph A. “Jay” Muntzer (Angela Eades) and Rahmel A. Muntzer; mother of Danielle and Jay, Sandra Bozman; former wife, Yuthana Muntzer; step-son, Christopher Quirk; step-daughters, Kerri Mobley and Allison Quirk; grandchildren Cecilia and Nora Blevins, Addyson and Presley Muntzer; and 10 step-grandchildren; sister, Sue Arrington (Kent) of Dallas, TX; brother, Curt Muntzer of Evansville; sister, Amy Muntzer of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. The Memorial Service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Friends may visit Saturday from 12:00~Noon until service time at the funeral home.
Family and friends will be gathering at Bud’s Bar & Grill following the memorial service.
