She was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute.
Edith’s life revolved around her church, Mill Road Baptist. She received Jesus as her Savior when she was five years old.
She loved to play the piano.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Gottlieb “Jack” Morgenthaler in 1980; and nephew, Howard Bolton.
She is survived by her nephew, Harry Benson.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Mill Road Baptist Church, 80 W. Mill Rd., Evansville, officiated by Pastor Bill Kellough and Pastor John Kellough with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, IL. Friends may visit Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Back to the Bible Foundation or Mill Road Baptist Church Missions.
