Edward Thomas Albin

Edward T. Albin, 89, of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Bethel Manor. He was born in Beaver Dam, KY on June 27, 1931. He graduated from Reitz High School in 1949, was a lifetime member at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. He was a Master Fisherman, avid fan of FJ Reitz football and University of Evansville basketball. He worked for George Koch and Sons as a Sheet Metal Journeyman for 44 years. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Albin; parents, Arval and Ollie Albin; brother, Charles Albin ( Maryann); sister, Wilma Rae Davis (Art); brother Anthony Wheeler (Sandy); niece, Sally Mayse Bennett; nephew, Anthony Wheeler Jr. He is survived by his son, David Albin (Teri); daughters, Debbie Albin, Delanie Stratman (Chris); grandchildren, Allie Brown (Jacob), Lexi, Ian, and Alex Albin; brother-in-law, Paul Mayse (Sherrill); great granddaughter, Annabelle Brown; nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Bethel Manor. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park.
