Eleanor May Lowder Drew

Eleanor worked for the American Optical Company for 20+ years. After retiring, she worked at Briar and Bean and currently at Just Rennie’s Catering.

She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church, where she enjoyed Bible Study Class and spending time with her family and friends.

Eleanor was a fan of Ellis Park race track.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Logan Drew in 1995.

Eleanor is survived by her Daughters, Nikki Nickens and Julie Wolfe (John) both of Newburgh; son, Mike Drew of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Brian Heath (Annette), Kristin McCutchan (Jason), April Wolfe, Mike Drew and Jessica Drew; four great grandchildren; brother, David L. Lowder of Lafayette, IN; sister-in-law, Eula M. Lowder of Kokomo, IN; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 3, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Rinehart, with entombment in Oak Hill Mausoleum. Friends may visit Sunday, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
