Eline was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Mackey, Indiana.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and drawing.
Eline is survived by her husband of 72 years, Leroy Schmitt of Oakland City, IN; daughters, Doris Price of Stendal, IN and Alice Burkhart (Steve) of Francisco, IN; son, Paul Schmitt (Barbara Sue) of Oakland City, IN; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, June 20, 2011, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Matthew Malin, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
