

Elizabeth “Betty” B. (Baker) Duckworth, 92, of Evansville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born January 30, 1933 in Chicago, IL to John Baker and Frances (LaSusa) McFall.
Betty was a lifelong fan of F.J. Reitz High School. She worked as a secretary at a variety of companies until her retirement at 55. Betty was a Perry Township Board member for several years. For many years she also held various positions as an election poll worker. Betty had an extreme love for cats, and enjoyed music, dancing, and yard work.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 36 years, David L. Duckworth.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Lisa G. Heard (David); grandson, Eric S. Tasa (Laura Williams); great grandchildren, Tyler N. Tasa (Jourdan) and Brayden J. Tasa; and great great grandchild, Calvin B. Tasa.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Betty’s birthday, Friday January 30, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street in Evansville. The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
