Elladean "MaMaw" Arnold

Elladean (Mamaw) Arnold, 92, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, at her home. She was born December 14, 1925, in Butler County, Kentucky. Elladean was a very loving person who will be greatly missed. She attended Bethany Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lois Arnold , parents Charlie and Annie Adkins; sister, Lucille Schultheis and her husband, Walter, daughter, Juanita Griffin, and brother, Clarence Adkins. She is survived by her grandchildren, Julie and Ernie Gonzalez and Mike and Linda Griffin; great grandchildren, Jill and Dan Nelson, Ernesto Gonzalez, Jessica and Wes Walton, Leann Nalin and Eric Nalin; four great great grandchildren; Shelba Barthel, who Mamaw thought of as another granddaughter and acted as a caregiver for the last three and one-half years. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Alexander North Chapel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
