H. Emma Spears, 88, of Evansville, IN passed away on October 3, 2022 at Linda E. White Hospice. Emma was born in Clay, KY on December 18, 1933.
She was a long-time confectionist for Lewis Bakeries. She loved animals. In her early years, she enjoyed swimming, cookouts, and horse races. Later, she loved doing crafts and sewing.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bernice Spence; siblings, Daisy Marx, Lucille Sheldon and Hays Shelton; son, Stevie R. Rainwater; husbands, Charles Rainwater, James Love and Randy Spears.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Rainwater; grandchildren, Justin K. Rainwater, Kaitlin M. Rainwater and Steven M. Rainwater; nine great grandchildren; best friend, Bonnie Greenwell.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN, with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence, KY. Friends may visit on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
