

He retired after 28 years of service from Alcoa.
Felix was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII and the Korean War receiving the World War II, Asiatic Pacific Area Ribbon, Korean Service Medal, China Service Medal and the American Area Ribbon.
He was an All Star Football player for Reitz High School.
Felix was a member of VFW Post 1114.
He loved and enjoyed all the pets that he had over the years.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Pine Haven Heath and Rehabilitations Center for their care and compassion.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents, Isiah and Mary Eakins; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eula (Dolly) Eakins, daughter, Sandra Allen (Wayne) of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Charlotte Skelton (Don) of Princeton; grandchildren, Thomas Allen (Rachelle), LaDonna Barnett, Rockford Allen (Mary), Penny Malin (Allan), and Noah Malin; great-grandchildren, Adam, Cory, Brittney, and Emiley Caine, Thomas Allen II (Laura), Elizabeth Thompson, Ashleigh and Dalton Goff; great-great-grandchildren, Erick and Katelyn James.
Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev David Schwambach with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
