She was a member of Howell United Methodist Church. Genevieve was a riveter on airplanes during World War II and worked 25 years at Economy Food Center and was a homemaker.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Lynn; brother, Carl Hilgeman; and sister, Vera Hilgeman.
She is survived by her son, Gary Lynn (Diana); brother, Harold Hilgeman (Janice); sisters-in-law, Peggy Hilgeman and Rebecca Freels; granddaughter, Carrie Lynn; nieces and nephew.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2011, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ora Johnson with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
