Gladys Virginia Jones

Gladys Virginia (LaForrest) Jones, 56, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Linda E. White Hospice. She was born on November 13, 1963, in Evansville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Colmobe and John LaForrest; brothers, John J., Richard and Charles LaForrest; and former husband, Mark Bisner. Gladys is survived by her husband, James Jones; daughters, Betty Sue Martinez (Juan) and Sabrina Monzon (Rafa); son, Mark Bisner (Ashley); step-son, David Lee Harris and step-daughers, Angela Dawn Harris and Heather Marie Jones; grandchildren, Gabriela, Alex “Boo Boo”, Silvano, Yesenyah, Aliyanna, Santana, Maggie, Noe, Hugo, Bionca, Michael, Matthew, Rosalina, Abby, Danni, Jacob, Daniel, Rollin, Autumn, Michael, Brystin, Brianna and Jackson; sisters, Linda Bass, Penny Lynn, Alice Gessler, Jeanette Steinhauer, Barbara Presley, and Judy LaForrest; brothers, Eddie (Pat), Bobby (Shirley), Tony, Brian (Theresa), Jeff (Debbi), Billy (Sherry), and Stevie (Tawana) LaForrest; mother-in-law, Carol Shepherd (Walter “Mac”); and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
