Glenn Breitwieser

Glenn moved to Evansville in 1937. He graduated from F. J. Reitz High School in 1942.

He served in the US Navy from 1942-46 and saw service in the Pacific Theatres on the USS Kitkun Bay.

Glenn married Gloria Klein in 1946 and has three children and two grandchildren.

He worked for Bucyrus Erie for 40 years as a Tool & Die maker and also at Kuesters Hardware.

Glenn was a Charter member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria, parents, Robert and Hilda Menke Breitwieser, and brother, Clyde Breitwieser.

Glenn is survived by his daughter, Dianne Breitwieser; son, David Breitwieser (Maren); daughter, Danilee Thompson (Dale) and grandchildren, Daniel and Anne.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2012, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3600 Oak Hill Road, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel and Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
