He attended William Henry Harrison High School and the University of Southern Indiana, and lived and worked here all his life. He had an abiding love for his friends, family, and his faith. Crossroads Christian Church was his place of worship. Glenn attended the University of Southern Indiana, and worked at Purolater Courier and Perfection Paint and Color, before becoming President of Sure Fine Foods in Evansville. Lauren and her husband, Matt Courtney cared for him in their home in Evansville after a debilitating stroke 14 years ago.
He will be remembered for his infectious laughter and his generous and genial nature by
Glenn’s many friends, with whom he spent untold days on the Rolling Hills golf course, watched basketball and football games, and cheerfully solved the most pressing problems of life. Known for his loyalty, one of his closest friends said that Glenn would stand in front of King Kong for his friends. He will be deeply missed.
Glenn was predeceased by his wife, Carol Henson Ingle; his father, Donald Burch Ingle, Sr., and his mother; Doris Susan Biggs Ingle.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Courtney of Newburgh, Indiana, his sister, Barbara Landy of Boston, Massachusetts, and his brother, Don Ingle, Jr. of Naples, Florida.
