He retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 1989 and had formerly worked at Servel, Inc. He was a WWII US Army Veteran and a devout Christian. Henry was a long time member of The Refuge Christian Church in Chandler. He was a devoted, hardworking family man and was dedicated to his grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Marie Strong, in November 2014.
He is survived by his son, Michael H. (Toni) Strong; grandchildren, Harla (Bryan), SPC Jeffrey US Army, and Joseph; and great-grandchildren, Neal, Connor, Jason, Winnie, and Shea.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 10, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel. Graveside Services will be 12:30 PM Friday in Creekmur Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY, where Military Rites will be held. Friends may visit Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
