Compassionate, loyal, and magnetic are a few words that highlight the extraordinary personality of Ian D. Nation. One cannot adequately describe the immense love that Ian showed to everyone that crossed his path. His presence made an impression and Ian knew no stranger. Ian’s light was needed in Heaven, so he was brought home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 25, 2021.

In his 33 years, Ian’s most precious accomplishment was his family. Ian is survived by his devoted wife, Constance, as well as his four amazing children, Shawn (12), Malakai (9), Amaya (4) and Penelope (1). Also dear to Ian’s heart were his parents, Dirk Nation and Rita Nation of Newburgh, Indiana, as well as his sisters Rachel Nation (and her wife Darcie) and Jessica Nation Gahl (and her husband Nick) along with his niece Lilly (9) and nephew Jameson “JT” (7) all of Zionsville, Indiana. Ian’s life is also celebrated by numerous other family members, as he was dearly loved as a caring grandson, fun uncle, nephew, cousin, and in-law.

On January 5, 2022, a memorial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute, Indiana at 2:00 pm EST. A celebration of life event will be scheduled at a later date.
