James attended Reitz High School where he ran track.
He enjoyed basketball, music, and his son.
James was preceded in death by two grandpas and one grandma “Suckers.”
He is survived by his son, Jaden Michael Elderbrook; parents, David and Ginger Elderbrook; brother, Edward Ray Landreth, Jr.; sisters, Stacie Berry, Jessica Greulich, Racheal Powers, and Crystal Elderbrook; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. George Huffsmith, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 3:30 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to the James D. Elderbrook Memorial Fund at Old National Bank, 961 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47713.
