Janet Sue Anderson

Janet graduated from North High School in 1969. She worked for a few years at Boetticher and Kellogg in downtown Evansville. Much later she worked at Target for a time and then for many years at The Arc of Evansville, caring for Jason and several other residents. Janet also served as a pre-school teacher at North Park Baptist Church.

Janet was a person of faith growing up at First E.U.B. church, later at Albright E.U.B. (which became Albright United Methodist). She, along with her family later became members at Calvary Baptist church and finally at North Park Baptist.

Janet was a proud and loving mother to her son Jason and her daughter Susan. She also was like a second mom to her three grandchildren Allison, Blaine, and Hannah.

Janet loved crafts, working crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, and shopping.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents Joe and JoAnn Cunningham, and her beloved son Jason who died earlier this year.

Survivors include her daughter Susan Anderson (Jason P.), brother Bob Cunningham (Libby), her grandchildren Allison, Blaine, and Hannah (Aaliyah), great-grandchildren Lakelyn and Riverlyn.

Arrangements are being made by Alexander Funeral Home-North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 3-7pm and Thursday 10-11am, with the service being at 11am Thursday. The funeral service will be viewable via livestream at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA
