Jason Garner Jarboe

Jason Garner Jarboe of Evansville, IN passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the age of 45. He was born on December 31, 1976 in Evansville. Jason grew up in Ft. Branch and Princeton, IN where he graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1995.

After graduation, Jason enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during his service years.

Jason enjoyed fishing, watching football and playing pranks with his brothers. He enjoyed attending his family’s large meals and gatherings, and retelling the legends of his childhood.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Marcie Marietta Stockton; his grandparents, Clifton and Marcie Hunter and Norman and Velma Schmidt; stepfather, David L. Stockton; stepmother, Barbara Jarboe and stepsister Anna Wadlington.

Jason is survived by his father, Steven B. Jarboe; son, Charles Landon Jarboe; brothers, Robert Jarboe, Jon Jarboe (Kimberly), and Eric Stockton (Melissa); sisters Shannon Cenci (Palmer), Lisa Loehr (Kent), and Karen Stockton; his partner, Laura Melton; his princess, Abigail Melton; special Aunt and Uncle, Kathy and Rodney Hunter; 15 nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank the 3rd floor nursing staff at Deaconess Midtown Hospital and the Linda E. White Hospice House staff for the care and compassion they showed Jason in his final days.

Family and friends gathered to remember and celebrate Jason’s life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Howell General Baptist Family Life Center.
