Jean Baumeister

She was born in Youngstown, OH on October 30, 1922. She was raised in Perry county on a farm on the Ohio river, that was always dear to her heart. She was married to her husband Robert for 43 years until his death in 1983. She was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church and was a former member of Union United Church of Christ.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Baumeister; her parents, O.W. and Irene Armstrong; brothers, Harold Armstrong and Robert Armstrong, and granddaughter, Amanda Baumeister.

She is survived by a son, Donald Baumeister (Debra) of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Sharon Fredrick (Mark) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Andrew Baumeister and Sarah Baumeister, both of Raleigh, NC, Jordan Fredrick of Naples, Italy, and Jennifer Fredrick of Newburgh, IN.

A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Randy Anderson. Following will be a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at Simon’s Cemetery in Tobinsport, IN. Friends may visit 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
