Jeffrey Alan Haines, 68, of Evansville, IN passed away Friday, May 10, 2024. He was born in Lawrenceville, IL on October 15, 1955 to the late Donald Eugene and Jo Anne (Gray) Haines.
Jeff grew up in Lawrenceville, IL. He liked playing a variety of sports, including bowling, softball, pool / billiards and golf. Jeff enjoyed coaching baseball. He was a welder and worked in construction for multiple companies. Jeff enjoyed talking to people, telling stories and never knew a stranger. He bar tended at Hagedorn’s and at the River Boat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jo Ann (Gray) Haines; and companion, Henrietta S. Rumade.
Jeff is survived by his sons, Eric Haines, Nick Haines (Amber), and Alan Haines; step-son, Colby Raibley; grandchildren, Chase Hawkins, Zachary Raibley, Cadence Raibley, Bree Raibley, Colt Asbridge, Ethan Haines, Nicholas Haines, Lexus Haines, Clay Haines, and Trinity Haines; brother, Dennis Haines (Stephanie); nephews, Patrick Haines (Rachel), and Ryan Haines (Alyssa); grand-nephews, Sebastian, Luke, and Brandon Haines; and grand-nieces, Madelyn and Claire Haines.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 until service time at the cemetery chapel.
