Jo Ann was a longtime member of Landmark Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Neil Staples, Sr. and siblings, Carl Snyder and Sue Jewell.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 13 years, Lonso Briant; five children, Diana Hamilton, Terri Montgomery, Neil “Gene” Staples, Jr., LaDonna Nation, and John Staples; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren; and siblings, John Snyder, Jr. and Mary Lou Wornica; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Rev. Barry Kirves, with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the cemetery.
