

Kenneth was a US Army Veteran attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of American Legion, Post #777.
He helped organize Duck’s Unlimited in Southern Indiana. He was a member of Alert-CB Radio Club, Mt. Vernon Gun Club, and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also liked to bowl.
Kenneth was the handyman of the neighborhood. He retired from General Electric in 1992 after almost 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Clarence, Larry, and Warren Kissinger, and brother-in-law, Carl Jeffries.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy (Wildt) Kissinger; children, Brian and Steve; grandchildren, Sydney and Andrew; siblings, Mike Kissinger (Vada), Glenda Houchin (George) and Janice Jeffries; sisters-in-law, Doris and Janet Kissinger.
Funeral services were held 1:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends visited Sunday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel and Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
