Lavonda R. Bullock

She enjoyed traveling, dancing and family gatherings. She retired from Wesselman’s at Lawndale after 25 years.

Lavonda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bullock, on May 24, 2012.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Jones (Phillip) and Debby Smiddy (Mark); five grandchildren, Jerry Jones (Kae), Carrie Ann South (Bob), Brian Smiddy (Michanne), Joseph Smiddy (Pamela) and Justin Smiddy (Shelia); 13 great-grandchildren, Bart Crowder, Jeff Jones, Stefan Render, Rachel Jones, Laken Elaine South, Adison Jay South, Keira Ann South, Lyssa Smiddy, Cole Smiddy, Katelyn Smiddy, Eric Mason, Chloe Coburn and Tristan Coburn; and brother, Michael Talbert (Jackie).

Lavonda’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Golden LivingCenter Brentwood for their loving care of Bill and Lavonda. They would also like to thank all the volunteers from Meals on Wheels for their years of service and care for Bill and Lavonda.

Services were 11:30 AM Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Eric Martin with burial in Tupman Cemetery. Friends visited Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
