Lillian Ann Mcginnis

She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and her family was her joy. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, and gardening, always sharing her vegetables with her neighbors. Since 1982 she was an avid mall walker at Eastland Mall and really enjoyed her friends there.

Lillian was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann McGinnis; sisters, Edith Peppers, Della Henson and Mary Lucille Jordan; and brothers, Robert and Chester Jordan.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John P. McGinnis; daughter, Nancy Peters; sons, Edward E. McGinnis (Peggy L.), David A. McGinnis, all of Evansville, and Wesley P. McGinnis (Carolyn), of Richland, IN; grandchildren, Matthew, John, Sara, Jessica, Steven, Thomas, Amy, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jerry and Lee; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Boley of Elkton, KY; brothers, Johnny, Leonard Jr. and Sylvester Jordan, all of Elkton, Samuel Jordan of Portage, IN and Sherman Jordan of Hobart, IN; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 6, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Maurice Melton with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
