Lloyd Otis Young

He was a WWII Army Veteran and served Post War in France and Germany. He retired from Bucyrus Erie in 1982 after 34 years and was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church.

Lloyd was the last surviving of twelve children of Frank and Matilda Young.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Young in 1968; and his parents.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha L. Young of Evansville; son, Lloyd A. Young and wife, Julie of Newburgh; daughter, Lynne Stanford and husband, Charles of Erwin, TN; son, Marion Bennett and wife, Cathy of Lake In The Hills, IL; grandchildren, Jonathan Young, Justin Young, Matthew Stanford, Heather Rieken, Elizabeth Bennett, Zachary Bennett, Mary Rogers, Daniel Quirk, Jr., Benjamin Quirk and Sarah Quirk; great-grandchildren, Taylor Rieken, Will and Colleen Rogers and Lauren Quirk.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, KY. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
