Lynoitte Townson

She was a member of Crosspoint Trinity Church in Evansville, Indiana. She was a bus driver for EVSC where she retired after 32 years.

Lynoitte was preceded in death by her parents, Louie Francis and Dessie Mae Ivey of Douglas, AL; son, Billy Wayne Townson, Jr.; grandson, Jordan Eib of Marion, IN; and granddaughter, Whitney DeVane of Dothan, AL.

Lynoitte is survived by her husband of 68 years, Billy Wayne Townson, Sr.; three daughters, Sheila Eib (Roger) of Marion, IN, Deborah DeVane (Stan) of Dothan, AL, and Sandy Gasser (Larry) of Evansville; two granddaughters, Autumn Lambert (Eric) of Maryville, TN and April Ahlemier (Eric) of Selvin, IN; five grandsons, Drew Gasser (Leslie) of Evansville, Chris Gasser (Heather) of Manhatten, KS, Jarred Eib of Marion, IN, Tyler Townson of Owensboro, KY, and Billy Townson III of Owesnboro, KY; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Townson. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 with Pastor Duane Allison officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.

Lynoitte was a child of Jesus Christ and He has come to take her home.
