Madeline (Rubsam) Hobson Lofton, 76, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at The Charlier Hospice Center at Deaconess VNA Plus, surrounded by her family. She was born April 7, 1940, in Evansville, to the late Billy and Lovedia (Withers) Herron.
She is survived by her children, Carol Masterson and Donald Hobson; siblings, Marian (Ken) McNelley and Rick Rubsam; grandchildren, Stephen (Jessica) Masterson, Stacy (Masterson) Kurtz, Holly (Michael) Tyring, Matthew Hobson, and Tosha (Trent) Davidson; great-grandchildren, Gwyndolyn, Brenen, Khyla, Aidan, Gabrielle, Jace, Sean, and Achillies; and nieces, Pam (Tony) Schubert and Karen (Ben) Poormokhtar.
A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
