

She was a lifetime member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church where she was very active. She enjoyed knitting, needle pointing, quilting, cooking and the Bible. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband, William Hooper, Sr.; brothers, Nelson, Willie Clayton and Edwin Faulkner; and grandsons, Michael Hooper, Sr. and Eric Hooper Cabell.
She is survived by her sons, William Jr. and Lawrence Hooper; daughters, Doris Hooper, Mary Hooper Goines and Rebecca Hooper, all of Evansville; brother, Lloyd Faulkner of Rancho Cordova, CA; sister, Arlester Winston; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The Hooper family wishes to thank VNA and Good Samaritan Home for the loving care they gave Margie.
A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 28, 2012, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 617 Bellemeade Avenue, officiated by Fr. Ted Tempel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
