Margie’s Christian faith was important to her.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Henry Henson Strong; son, Michael (Toni) Strong of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Harla (Bryan) McIntire, Specialist Jeffrey (Rebecca) Strong, and Joseph Strong; great-grandchildren, Neal , Connor, Jason, Sophie, Shea, Winnie and Camden; and siblings, Juanita, Thelma, Mary, Hazel, Thomas, James and Garnett.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 28, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Gordon DeTalent, with burial in Creekmur Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
